The Nehemiah Community Empowerment Corporation
(NCEC) is a dedicated non-profit organization, founded in
2005 by Dr. Herbert Reynolds Davis. NCEC is committed to
strengthening the Durham, NC community by providing
essential resources and support, with aspirations to
extend its positive impact more broadly in the future.
At NCEC, we believe everyone deserves access to the tools
and support they need to thrive. We understand that
barriers such as geographic location, language differences,
economic circumstance, or accessibility needs can prevent
people from reaching their full potential. Our goal is to
bridge critical gaps where individuals and families face
challenges in accessing vital services.
