Brenda J. Smith, DMin

Brenda J. Smith, DMin a retired business owner, has provided leadership in both the public and private sector for over 50 years. Her demonstrative core values include accountability, integrity, selfless service, teamwork, and ongoing personal and professional development.

She is passionate in serving vulnerable and marginalized populations with a focus on serving senior citizens to ensure their needs are met. Dr. Smith is involved in projects including, but not limited to, participation in the recruitment of food, clothing and toys for families in need, and the promotion of morale-building activities.

One of her greatest honors and legacy is serving as mother to two adult children, grandmother to six children, and great-grandmother to two children.

Her motto is: give individuals a hand up, not just a hand out.
